Standard Consultation (55 minutes): $240.00 Long Consultation (90 minutes): $360.00 Please note Katy's fees are significantly lower than the current APS recommended rate of $300.00 per standard 55 minute consultation. MEDICARE REBATES The Medicare rebate is $137.05 per session, as of November 2023. This results in an out of pocket expense of $102.95 per standard 55 minute consult. Please note this is not a Bulk Billing practice. Who is eligible for a Medicare Rebate? The Medicare rebate is available for people with a formal mental health diagnosis made by their GP (for example, depression, an anxiety disorder, or other mental health disorder). The GP may then refer you for up to 10 rebated sessions per calendar year, under a Mental Health Care Plan. Please note: the Medicare rebate does not cover the full cost of each session and there will be an out of pocket expense. The full fee is payable at the time of your session, after which your Medicare Rebate can be processed. Please see your GP for assessment for possible eligibility for referral under Medicare. When booking with your GP, please advise of this purpose as you may need to book a longer consultation. PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE REBATES Who can claim a rebate through Private Health Insurance? For those not attending under Medicare, (for example if attending for relationship issues or other reasons and not for intervention for a mental health disorder) you may be able to claim a partial rebate for psychological services through your private health insurer, depending on your level of cover. Please contact your insurer for more details. CANCELLATION POLICY <48 hours notice from time of appointment- Half fee applies. <24 hours notice from time of appointment- Full fee applies. Please note that you cannot claim rebates for cancelled sessions. |
